Abstract
The Center for Electronic Records of the National Archives of the United States
is the repository for electronic records created by the federal government
and having long-term historical value. Of the almost 20,000 data files in
the custody of the Center, numerous files are relevant to studies of Latin
America. These data files may be classified into four groups: attitudinal
data, trade and transportation data, health and social service data, and other
electronic records relevant to research on Latin America. This paper briefly
describes those electronic records having information collected in or about
Latin America.
